Family Fun Day in aid of
Horse Power for Ability on 18th July
We want to say a BIG THANK YOU to
Vicky and Peter Moffit of Vallum Farm and their staff, without whose efforts the whole day would not have been possible, Ken
Arms for cooking delicious food on the day, and for his donation of a meal for two for the
silent auction, Bernard and P of Bywell Smokery for contributing their smoked salmon,
Graeme of Gallactico Sports for being the goalie that so many children tried to beat,
Sue Moffitt of Fifiefofum Gallery for painting so many beautiful faces,  Berni for selling                                                      her
gorgeous all natural soaps (we wish we’d had the soap for Rowan and Jet before the day
- they would have been a lot
cleaner and smelled beautifully!),
to Greggs for giving us cakes
and buns and to Beeswing for
the beautiful music in the after-
noon.
We are particularly grateful to
the many individuals who supported us so generously on the day,
before and since, and of course to all of the visitors for coming and
making the day enjoyable, and we want to extend a big thank you
also to the generous sponsors of our silent auction:
Newcastle Racecourse (www.newcastle-racecourse.co.uk), Kelso
Races,  (www.kelso-races.co.uk), Dominic and Sarah
Alnwick, The Highlander, Belsay, Vallum Farm and Tony Binks again,

Family Fun Day at Vallum Farm
Vicky and Peter were wonderful hosts and put incredible amounts of work into
making this a wonderful day. And a great day it was with children’s games, tractor
rides, lots of lovely food, stalls, tombola and auction. Even the weather was kind
to us against all odds!
We are particularly pleased that so many families with disabled children came to
the Fun Day. After all it is people with disabilities who we provide a service to, and
it was great to see that so many had heard of the day and of us and made an
effort to come along to find out more.
