From the A1 South:
Leave the A1 at Alnwick, and keep on the main road through
Alnwick and up Clayport Bank to pick up the road that goes to
Rothbury. Go over Alnwick Moor and at the first crossroads turn
right (signposted to Whittingham).
Follow the road down the hill, ignore one right turn (to Aberwick)
and cross Battle Bridge at the bottom of the hill. Take the next
turning to the right. At the next T-junction turn right again
(signposted Bolton), over the bridge and to Bolton.
At the T-junction (in front of Bolton Chapel) turn right, take the
next left. Drive past the signpost to Titlington Training and
Demonstration Centre on your right, then turn right at the next
opportunity.
This takes you past Titlington Hall (on your left) to Titlington Hall
Farm. Immediately you are through the farm gates, you’ll have the
farm house in front of you and to your right and a single cottage
on your left.  Please park in front of the single cottage on your left
(Shepherd’s Cottage). This is where your first assessment will
take place.
From the A1 North:
Leave the A1 at Alnwick, follow the signs to Alnwick. You’ll go over
the Lion Bridge; opposite the castle turn right, next opportunity
turn left, past Morrison’s and then right at the T-junction.
Go up Clayport Bank to pick up the road that goes to Rothbury.
Go over Alnwick Moor and at the first crossroads turn right
(signposted to Whittingham).

This takes you past Titlington Hall (on your left) to Titlington Hall
Farm. Immediately you are through the farm gates, you’ll have the

on your left.  Please park in front of the single cottage on your left
(Shepherd’s Cottage). This is where your first assessment will
take place.
From the A697 South:
Go through Longframlington and over the next long hill. Go past the
“Moors Crossroads” (signposted left to Rothbury and right to Alnwick)
and down the hill. Turn right at the next crossroads (signposted
Alnwick) and follow the road. At the next crossroads (just after you’ve
come up an incline) turn left (signposted Bolton).
At the T-junction (in front of Bolton Chapel) turn right, go through
Bolton village and take the next left at a crossroads. About a mile
along this road drive past the signpost to Titlington training and
Demonstration Centre on your right, then turn right at the next
opportunity.
This takes you past Titlington Hall to Titlington Hall Farm. Immediately
you are through the farm gates, you’ll have the farm house in front of
you and to your right and a single cottage on your left.  Please park in
front of the single cottage on your left (Shepherd’s Cottage). This is
where your first assessment will take place.
From the A697 North:
Pass Wooperton Sawmill on your left and after about 2 miles you will
cross a bridge and come into the 40mph speed limit for Powburn.
Immediately after the bridge turn left at a crossroads (signposted
Titlington). After about a mile the road forks - take the right hand fork
and climb the hill past
Hedgeley Hall.
At the top of the hill, pass a
road off on the right, then a
short distance further you
will come to a crossroads.
Go straight over at the
crossroads, and continue on
this road for about 2 miles
further, passing one road off
on the left. As you come
down the hill through some
woods you will then see a
small road off on the right, then round the next corner there will be a
road off on the left. Turn left into this road.
This takes you past Titlington Hall to Titlington Hall Farm. Immediately
you are through the farm gates, you’ll have the farm house in front of
you and to your right and a single cottage on your left.  Please park in
front of the single cottage on your left (Shepherd’s Cottage). This is
where your first assessment will take place.
